WWE News: Becky Lynch hit on the head by Sasha Banks' chair shot
The Boss turned heel and went on to administer a brutal beatdown on Natalya and Becky Lynch. Banks pummelled the Raw Women's Champion with countless chair shots.
As pointed by various fans on Twitter, one of the shots hit the back of Becky Lynch's head. It's common knowledge that WWE has banned chair shots to the head as part of the talent wellness programme that was implemented in 2010.
The shot to the back of Lynch's head was a mere accident as the Raw Women's Champion found herself in a wrong position, especially her head. The back thankfully absorbed all the other shots. The Man has not commented on the attack and seems to have escaped a possible injury. You can skip to 0:12 in the video posted below to view the chair shot in question:
As stated earlier, Sasha Banks' comeback was the biggest highlight of an otherwise run-of-the-mill episode of Raw. The segment began with Natalya cutting a promo in front of her fellow countrymates. Selling a shoulder injury suffered during her SummerSlam match, Natalya cut an emotional promo about her late father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, who passed away a year ago on the same day.
Sasha Banks' music hit and the fans inside the Scotiabank Arena popped for the returning Superstar. The former Women's Champion made her way to the ring and hugged Natalya.

Banks took off her purple wig and went to assault Natalya, effectively turning heel in the process. Instead of cheering for the injured Canadian Superstar, the Toronto fans chanted "Thank you, Sasha!"
Becky Lynch ran out to make the save but was taken out ruthlessly by Banks.
The brutality of the segment had Paul Heyman's imprints all over it. However, the women involved may want to be extra cautious while wielding a chair in the future.
Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch are expected to face each other for the Raw Women's Championship at Clash of Champions on September 15th, 2019.
