What's the story?

Impact Wrestling superstar 'Walking Armageddon' Bobby Lashley was interviewed by Main Event Radio during Impact Wrestling's tapings in Canada.

The two subjects that he touched upon were the big money fight between him and Brock Lesnar, and the fact that he is Paul Heyman's 'side chick'. Yes, dear reader, you did read that right.

In case you didn't know...

There are many similarities between Lashley and Lesnar. Both are beastly men, with backgrounds in both MMA and professional wrestling. However, as it stands now, Brock Lesnar holds the top prize on WWE's flagship show, RAW, whereas Lashley is one of the biggest superstars in Impact Wrestling.

Fans have wanted these men to clash for a really long time. Let's see what Lashley feels about the same.

The heart of the matter

Lashley says that if fans beg for a match between him and Lesnar, it will surely happen (H/T Wrestling Inc.):

Whether it's in fighting or wrestling, that match needs to happen. If he retires without doing that match, it's stupid. If I retire before doing that match, it's stupid. I could post a picture of my kids or of me eating a Popsicle and people will ask me when I'm going back to WWE or when I'll go against Brock.

He also elaborated on the strange relationship between Lesnar and his advocate, and his role in their equation:

Paul will reach out to me out of nowhere with a tweet or text. Those are the times where Brock kind of pisses him off a little bit. Then he calls me and sees how I'm doing. Then him and Brock make up and he disappears.

Lashley described the relationship between Lesnar and Heyman as that that of a boyfriend and girlfriend, with Lashley as the side chick in the said equation.

What's next?

Now that Bound for Glory is over, we wonder what is next for Lashley to accomplish. We're certain that he'll remain a top player in Impact Wrestling. As for Lesnar, he takes on AJ Styles, this weekend.

Author's take

Lesnar vs. Lashley would be a cool match to watch. I'd also like to see him face the bigger men in the roster like Strowman and maybe even Roman Reigns. He's a much better performer now, and as he's shown with Moose, he works great with the bigger men.
