Return of The Dominator

What's the story?

After 10 years away from the WWE, 'The Dominator' Bobby Lashley, made his return on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 34.

In case you didn't know

Lashley began his transition from amateur wrestling to professional wrestling when he signed with WWE via their developmental system in 2004.

He would remain with the company until 2008, before leaving to wrestle with the independents and, pursue a career in MMA.

The heart of the matter

In the second hour of Raw, Elias did his usual stick of playing his guitar and mocking the crowd, when Lashley made his return to the WWE.

Lashley would storm the ring, hitting Elias with a neckbreaker and, an amazing stalling suplex letting everyone know he's back in action.

The biggest moments in Lashley's wrestling career took place during his first run with WWE when he won the ECW Championship, and faced John Cena, for the WWE Championship at the Great American Bash in 2007.

But the most infamous moment of his career was, the 'Battle of the Billionaires' match from WrestleMania 23, when Lashley fought on behalf of current U.S. President Donald Trump against Vince McMahon's representative, Umaga.

Lashley left WWE a year after his WrestleMania match and would go on to become an MMA Champion in two promotions and win several Championships in Impact Wrestling.

What's next?

With his return tonight, Lashley has plenty of options going forward that could make for great additions to WWE programming.

He has wrestled in both the main event and the mid-card of WWE, so Lashley can do virtually anything.

Author's take

The Raw after WrestleMania has had a bunch of great moments and returns and Lashley's was definitely a sight to behold.

Looking forward to seeing Lashley blast through the competition in the 50-Man Royal Rumble match later this month.
