WWE News: Braun Strowman says he is Vince McMahon's project

In a recent interview with metro.co.uk, Braun Strowman asserted that he is Vince McMahon’s project.

Additionally, Strowman heaped a ton of praise on the WWE production crew; besides reiterating how his big-guy genetics and larger-than-life look helps him in the WWE.

Braun Strowman made his WWE main roster debut as part of The Wyatt Family.

All through his time as a Wyatt, the professional wrestling fans and experts weren’t too high on him as a main-event talent. However, that perception seemingly changed when he broke out from The Wyatt Family and carved his own niche in WWE as a singles competitor.

The heart of the matter

Braun Strowman credited the WWE production team (stunts and special effects crew in particular) for the big spots he’s often done on TV. The Monster Among Men added—

“At the end of the day, a lot of it is Vince, he is very hands-on with me and has taken me on as his project. He has some crazy ideas and I’ve never once questioned anything that Vince has wanted me to do because I know he wouldn’t ask me to do something he wouldn’t do himself…Vince is very keen on the larger than life human beings, especially because of the shock and awe value”

Furthermore, Strowman explained that even before he was a WWE Superstar when he’d enter a room full of people, everyone would pause and stare at him, owing to larger-than-life presence—something that he credits his genetics for. Nevertheless, Strowman emphasized that just being a big guy doesn’t cut it in the WWE, as one needs to learn how to wrestle too. And the biggest challenge he’s faced in WWE is to efficiently portray a rough and tough Superstar while also being careful not to injure his co-performers.

Additionally, Strowman elucidated that his aim is to become a WWE Hall of Famer and main event Wrestlemania. Braun insinuated that he’s with WWE for the long haul, and always wants to be remembered as Braun Strowman ‘The Monster Among Men’, owing to which he has Vince McMahon in his corner.
