What's the story?

Bray Wyatt hasn't been seen since Matt Hardy revealed that he'd be taking time away to recover after revealing some troubling medical news. With the Deleters of Worlds broken up, Wyatt didn't have much left to do, and while the WWE Universe expected to see him launched back into the singles division, he simply vanished from the screen.

In case you didn't know...

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt were a pretty successful tag team on Monday Night Raw, managing to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship and hold it for a few months before dropping them to the B-Team. It seemed that they were set for a heel turn, but Hardy would have to take a break from in-ring competition when it was revealed that his back was beginning to fuse with his pelvis.

Since then, Bray Wyatt hasn't been seen on Raw. Multiple times, we expected to see the former WWE Champion make his return, whether it would be to team with Braun Strowman, challenge Brock Lesnar, or simply rekindle a feud with Seth Rollins or Finn Balor. And though there were opportunities to do so, we still haven't seen him. However, Wyatt let us know today that he would be back soon in a not so subtle jab at another reporter.

The heart of the matter

Bray Wyatt took to Twitter today to respond to a critic who had called him out for his "cryptic" tweets. Wyatt fired back, stating that he would be back soon, and when everyone sees how great he is, the writer would owe him a beer.

What's next?

Monday Night Raw last night saw the return of Roman Reigns as he revealed that his leukemia was in remission. We also saw the Big Dog and Seth Rollins save Dean Ambrose from a beat down. However, for a while now we've known that Dean Ambrose is on his way out of the WWE after WrestleMania, and someone else will have to replace Ambrose as a top talent on the flagship brand. Bray Wyatt is definitely the kind of guy to fill that role.
