WWE News: Bray Wyatt unveils his brand new championship

Wyatt's customized belt looks like a million bucks!
Bray Wyatt's customized belt looks like a million bucks!

What's the story?

Bray Wyatt may have lost the WWE Championship to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33, but he's still holding the gold. This time it's a custom belt, created by Top Rope Belts.

This one is simply entitled 'The Title of The Immortals'. We wonder if it's a special belt to commemorate his feud with Woken Matt Hardy.

In case you didn't know...

Bray Wyatt won the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber 2017. He would subsequently lose the title to former Wyatt Family member, Randy Orton and sink down to the mid-card.

Currently, he is in a feud with Matt Hardy who's in his 'woken' avatar. The two men have exchanged cryptic words on RAW for several weeks now, and will be locking horns when 205 Live goes on tour, soon.

The heart of the matter

This is, of course, an unofficial title. However, the look and the overall finish of the title are both exemplary and dare we say, they're at par with the official titles in WWE, right now. Kudos to Top Rope Belts for crafting such a masterpiece for the Eater of Worlds.

The strap, in particular, is a thing of beauty. There was also an interesting altercation between Wyatt and a fan over the title. A fan decided to troll Wyatt but got a fantastic response in return.

You do not engage in a Twitter battle with the 'Eater of Worlds', Sir!

What's next?

We wonder if this makeshift title will be defended when 205 Live hits the road. To be honest, the Hardy-Wyatt feud should be the highlight of the program. 205 Live is a great show, but the fan interest hasn't always been the best in the Cruiserweight Division.

Author's take

Bray Wyatt has always been one of those unfortunate souls who deserved far better than he ever got from WWE Creative. Let's hope that the feud with Woken Matt Hardy can make him feel relevant again.

I'm partial to supernatural characters and so, have always been a fan of his.
