WWE News: Brie Bella says she found it hard to enjoy the last days of her career, because of Daniel Bryan's 'emotional stress'

Brie says that her retirement couldn’t have come at a better time

On the latest episode of Total Bellas, Brie went for a photoshoot for Arizona Foothills Magazine, and she discussed with her friend that she had only three weeks left in her career.

She went on to say that while that should normally be among the best periods of a person’s life, it was extremely hard for her, because of the emotional stress that her husband Daniel Bryan was undergoing.

It must be noted that the period of Bryan’s retirement preceded Brie’s by just a month and a half. Of course, Brie got to retire on her terms. She said:

After he was forced to retire retired, honestly, he just started reviewing his life, and it's been very hard for Bryan to adjust to life without wrestling, and I think he's been holding a lot of confusion in. He's been feeling a lot of things he doesn't want to tell me, because he wants to deal with it on his own. And I'm like, this is just a roadblock."

She said that the retirement period should be the happiest of her life. She was coming to an end of a career she worked her tail off for nine years. She said she was trying so hard to enjoy it but she couldn’t, because when she saw him, she felt so bad. And the timing was perfect because Bryan needed her home.

She felt that he needed her every day at that point.

It is no secret that Daniel Bryan is still undergoing the struggle of not wrestling. He has been very open about the struggle. But WWE will not let him go until his contract expires in 2018. Things could change by then since Bryan now has a baby on the way!
