What's the story
It's now made official for WWE Fastlane! Kofi Kingston will be challenging Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship in the main event.
In case you didn't know...
Kofi Kingston came very close to capturing the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber when he narrowly pinned Daniel Bryan, but to no avail, as the two men battled back and forth with Daniel Bryan getting the upper hand and the victory to retain his title with the Running Knee.
Since then, many within the WWE Universe, along with various WWE Superstars have solidly backed Kofi Kingston throughout social media in an effort to get Kofi Kingston one more crack at the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan. Were the pleas of the WWE Universe loud enough for the McMahons to hear?
The heart of the matter
Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton, Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan tonight in a 6-Man Tag Team match. Kofi Kingston connected with the "Trouble in Paradise" on the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan to get the pinfall and the victory for his team. After the match, Shane McMahon came out on stage to formally announce that Daniel Bryan will be facing Kofi Kingston at WWE Fastlane for the WWE Championship!

WWE Fastlane will be coming to you live on March 10th from Cleveland, Ohio. We now officially have two matches booked for the show. The Usos will be defending the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles against Shane McMahon and The Miz in a rematch from Elimination Chamber.
