WWE News: Clash of Champions betting odds favors champions and Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn might just stay in the WWE according to the odds

What's the story?

With Clash of Champions coming up on Sunday, the SmackDown Live exclusive pay-per-view has a number of tasty clashes and one of the big draws has to be the tag match between the team of Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura-Randy Orton.

Even the WWE Championship, SmackDown tag team titles and Women’s championship are on the line and Wrestling Inc via BetWrestling have shared the latest odds for some of the bigger matches from the show.

In case you didn't know...

While AJ Styles will defend his WWE title against Jinder Mahal and Charlotte defends her Women’s title against Natalya, all eyes will be on Zayn and Owens.

Should the pair lose to Nakamura and Orton, Zayn and Owens would be out of the WWE.

The heart of the matter

Before we go on to share the odds, this is based on the American/Moneyline odds and a negative sign before a wrestler suggests that they are the favorite to win their match while a positive sign suggests they are not favored.

For example, if someone bet $100 on a wrestler with a +500, the person would end up winning $500 should the wrestler win.

The one constant from the odds is that all the champions are set to retain their title except for the US title as the odds have not been shared yet.

Even Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are expected to win their bout and thus remain in the WWE.

SmackDown Women’s Title

Charlotte (c) -675 vs. Natalya +425

SmackDown Tag Team Title

The Usos (c) -245 vs. The Field (Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable, Rusev and Aiden English and The New Day)

WWE Championship

AJ Styles (c) -415 vs. Jinder Mahal +295

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn -300 vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton +220

There should be individual odds for each of the challengers for the Tag team title and that should be wider than the ‘field’ option.

We are also yet to see any odds for the clash between Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder and the Breezango vs. Bludgeon Brothers tag team match.

What's next?

Clash of Champions takes place on 17 December in Boston and all eyes will be mostly on the WWE Championship clash and also the Zayn-Owens team up.

Author's take

While the odds might fluctuate from other betting sites, this one does seem to follow the trend and the one striking result is that the Usos will keep their tag titles despite going up against three other teams.

Zayn and Owens winning should not really surprise anyone as we could see a lot of drama with Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan being the two special guest referees for the clash.

The pay-per-view might just turn out to be one of the better ones in recent months and hopefully, even with the odds shared, we will see some amazing matches.
