WWE News: Current RAW superstar takes a shot at The Undertaker, says he wants him gone
What's the story?
Elias is one of those WWE Superstars who possesses the gift of the gab and is very outspoken. When he was a guest on Headliners, he mentioned that veterans like The Undertaker and D-Generation X all need to go.
I thank Wrestling Inc. for the transcript. I wonder if this will lead to a face-off between the two, someday in the future.
In case you didn't know...
Elias has had a strange time on RAW recently. While he had become a babyface not long ago, he is currently a heel on WWE Television even though fans love him immensely.
Most recently, he took on NXT Superstar Aleister Black during his RAW debut and lost. It is unclear what the road to WrestleMania has in store for Elias next, considering he hasn't really been in a feud for some time now.
Will he remain a comedy mid carder?
The heart of the matter
Elias maintains that once upon a time, he used to be a fan of The Undertaker. But any respect he had for the legend is now long gone:
There was a time when I respected The Undertaker, I respected Shawn Michaels, I respected Triple H, and now they just hang around. They keep having these matches with each other. I just want them gone, so, any respect I did have for these guys is out the window
Elias went on to say that these men were relevant in the past. But it is his time to shine right now:
The whole thing, The Brothers of Destruction, DX, any of that stuff, that was an attitude era thing. But you're looking at the guy right now, so, step aside and it's Elias' time. Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H, Kane, get out of here, man. Get out!
Rumours are circulating that The Undertaker has finally retired. Therefore, a match between Elias and The Undertaker may not take place at any point. But considering that Elias performs The Undertaker's 'old school' maneuver, I daresay he's learned a trick or two from the legend.
Do you think The Undertaker needs to retire? Let us know in the comments.
