What’s the story?

Drew McIntyre has reportedly been training with WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page.

Apparently, McIntyre has been honing his yoga skills with DDP ahead of his in-ring comeback.

In case you didn’t know…

Drew McIntyre performed for the WWE from 2007 until his departure from the promotion in 2014.

McIntyre then went on to achieve considerable success on the independent professional wrestling circuit, following which he returned to the WWE last year.

The heart of the matter

Drew McIntyre captured the NXT Championship upon his 2017 return to WWE, however, he lost the title to Andrade “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in November of last year.

McIntyre suffered a torn bicep during the match and has been out of action ever since. Addressing his aforementioned injury and subsequent recovery, McIntyre explained that this was indeed the first time in his career that an injury kept him on the shelf for such a long period of time.

Furthermore, McIntyre asserted that he has used his time away from the ring to shore up a few holes in his game, and take his skills and, fitness to the next level. McIntyre can be seen praising Diamond Dallas Page’s DDP Yoga program, as the former NXT Champion visited the DDP Yoga Performance Center in Atlanta so as to perfect his techniques and work towards an optimal performance.

The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Drew McIntyre is set to make his WWE in-ring comeback next month.

Author’s take

DDP Yoga is an excellent way to rehabilitate one’s body, and attune it with one’s mind and, spirit—all part of the rehab and fitness routine.

It’s great to see Drew McIntyre utilize Diamond Dallas Page’s proven fitness routines, in addition to McIntyre’s well-known weight-lifting practices.

Well, the rest of the WWE Superstars ought to watch out as McIntyre seems primed to come back and dominate his competition yet again.
