What’s the story?
WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony got off to an explosive start tonight as Edge and Christian inducted The Dudley Boyz into the Hall of Fame.
Well, there was only one way to end it - TABLES! Bubba Ray and D-Von marked becoming the first ever ECW originals to enter the Hall of Fame by putting a stagehand through a table.

The Dudley Boyz are the most decorated tag team in the world of wrestling, winning the WWE Tag Team Championships a total of nine times.
Tonight, they became the first ECW originals to be inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame.
The heart of the matter
Well, in a speech that also involved name checking Hulk Hogan, which received a huge pop from the crowd, and bringing The Hardy Boyz on stage to reunite the six TLC legends with inductees Edge and Christian joining in, it seemed like time wasn't going spare...
D-Von was interrupted when the Dudleys’ music played, seemingly hinting that they’d overran their speech and were being hooked.
Everything became apparent as a stagehand came out apologetically asking the new Hall of Famers to get off the stage. Bubba Ray grabbed the poor PA and, one last time, pushed D-Von and shouted, “Get the tables!”
The pair ended their induction in the same way they ended many matches - by powerbombing someone through a table.
What’s next?
Bubba Ray and D-Von have cemented their place in history as Hall of Famers. The telling moment naming Hulk Hogan and the reaction it received may just tip the balance more in the favour of a return.

I loved the speech! Hall of Fame speeches tend to drag on sometimes, but this one was incredible. Edge and Christian brought the humour and set up the Dudley Boyz’ emotional and light-hearted speech perfectly. This one is one to watch again, and definitely one of the better Hall of Fame speeches!
