What’s the story?
In an interview with Guitar World, Raw Superstar Elias was asked about his role at WrestleMania, and The Drifter confirmed that he will indeed be performing - at least in the musical sense.
In case you didn’t know…
Elias is over!
Since arriving on the main roster, the Drifter managed to create a genuine connection with the WWE Universe through his unique segment which kicks off every one of his matches.
Elias has only come out to his entrance music once on Raw, during the Gauntlet Match, and usually is introduced while sitting on a stool in the dark, when a spotlight hits to reveal the former NXT star with his guitar.
Every week, Elias tries to get a cheer from the crowd, only to pick his moment and turn on them, dissing them through a song. Elias is reportedly one of WWE's biggest merchandise sellers with his, "What does WWE stand for?" Getting a louder scream of "WALK WITH ELIAS" every single week.
The heart of the matter
Well, Elias has no confirmed match or appearance for WrestleMania this week, but Guitar World recently asked Elias if he would be performing musically on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' this year.
Yes, it would be an injustice if Elias was at WrestleMania and not performing in front of millions of people around the world, nearly 70,000 in attendance, it would be an absolute injustice. I will be performing, it will be an amazing memorable performance, unlike anything you've seen Elias do in the past.
Elias also spoke of plans for his music to be recorded and released in the future.
The company is taking notice of what I'm doing every week and there's absolutely plans in the works to record music, release music, put it out there and give them the sound of Elias that they can take with them. They can have it on their phone, they can have it wherever on whatever music format they have.
What’s next?
Well, there are still three episodes of Monday Night Raw to come before Elias, so we should hopefully see The Drifter's role confirmed in the coming weeks.

I love Elias! In fact, I even own a Walk With Elias T-shirt. The man is money and I really hope he has a big role in New Orleans. There had been talks of him hosting the event of teaming with Braun Strowman to face The Bar. Whatever he does, I'm sure there'll be a huge pop as always for Elias.
