What’s the story?

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Elias opened up on a myriad of topics.

Elias addressed the possibility of him singing while waiting for his Elimination Chamber pod to open. Besides, Elias also spoke about preparing his own songs, and the cost of breaking as many guitars as he does.

In case you didn’t know…

Elias is considered to be one of the WWE’s top prospects today.

Nicknamed ‘The Drifter’, Elias generally comes out to the ring and strums his guitar while singing to the fans—berating them and utilizing his musical skills to further accentuate his villainous/heel acts on WWE’s television broadcasts as well as live events.

The heart of the matter

On the topic of putting forth a musical performance while waiting inside the Elimination Chamber pod, given that he enters last, Elias stated—

"I don't know yet, man. If that's the case — if I have my guitar and I'm able to do my songs, I absolutely will create a few songs for the Chamber."

Additionally, on coming up with his own songs, Elias revealed—

"I always have a full song prepared, because I cannot bank on the crowd booing anything. I could go out there and tell them to shut their mouths and listen to my song, there's always a chance they could shut their mouths and listen to my song."

Furthermore, upon being probed whether breaking as many guitars as he does costs a lot, Elias emphasized that when one is at the level he’s at on Monday Night RAW, there’s no need to worry about things like that.

What’s next?

Elias, John Cena, The Miz, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman compete in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, which takes place at the Elimination Chamber PPV in February 25th.

The winner of the match earns the right to challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar for the title at Wrestlemania 34 in April.

Author’s take

Love him or hate him, one can’t deny that Elias possesses the intelligence & composure required to function as a top-tier Superstar in the WWE.

Besides, it is indeed a very real possibility that Elias engages in some good ol’ fashioned strumming & singing while waiting for his Elimination Chamber pod to open…not only to entertain the fans, but also to rile up his opponents in the all-important matchup.
