What’s the story?
In an interview with Planeta Wrestling, WWE Raw superstar Elias was questioned on who he would choose as his WrestleMania 34 opponent if he had the chance of squaring off against either John Cena or Braun Strowman at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’.
In case you didn’t know…
Over the past few months, Elias had his fair share of run-ins with both John Cena and Braun Strowman. The “Drifter” recently squared off against Strowman in a unique gimmick match on last week’s edition of Raw, when the two men squared off in a Symphony of Destruction Match where Strowman came out on top in a devastating manner.
Meanwhile, Elias and Cena had previously wrestled each other on the Christmas special edition of Raw, where Cena earned himself a victory over the former IWC World Heavyweight Champion. The two men would once again cross paths at Raw’s 25th Anniversary episode, during which Elias smashed his guitar on Cena and left him lying in the ring after a brutal blindside attack.
The heart of the matter
While conversing with Planeta Wrestling, Elias claimed that he definitely has some unfinished business with Braun Strowman, following last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, during which “The Monster Among Men” would go on to smash a piano on Elias. In addition, Elias noted that he is definitely not done with Strowman and promised to take care of “The Monster Among Men” in one way or another.
"He [Strowman] went and smashed a piano on me, but guess what? I'm here right now, I'm talking to you, and yeah, I gotta take care of Braun Strowman one way or another. I'm definitely not done with him," Elias stated.
Furthermore, Elias also said that if Braun Strowman is not up to the challenge at WrestleMania, then he would definitely love to go toe-to-toe with 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena.
What’s next?
As noted on Raw this week, Braun Strowman is currently set to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 34, so it looks like Elias will not be dealing with “The Monster Among Men” anytime soon.
But, that being said, we know for that John Cena is also without an opponent for WrestleMania—despite him challenging The Undertaker on Raw—so it is safe to assume that there is definitely a chance for Elias to once again get his hands on Cena, come WrestleMania 34, which takes place on the 8th of April.

In my opinion, will take part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, instead of competing in a singles match at WrestleMania 34.
