What’s the story?
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, WWE Superstar Elias claimed that he is currently open to the idea of facing off against the legendary Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in a singing contest at WrestleMania.
In case you didn’t know…
As noted in the past, former WWE World Champion The Rock has already proved himself to be a huge hit in the early days of the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era, with his own spell of in-ring ballads.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, former NXT star and current Monday Night Raw Superstar Elias has also proved himself to be a highly entertaining superstar, thanks to his singing skills that have played a huge part in him getting over with the WWE Universe.
The heart of the matter
During his conversation with Sky Sports, Elias evidently laid out a challenge to “The Great One” The Rock as he said that The Rock is more than welcome to Walk With Elias if he wishes to.
Elias, additionally, noted that The Rock might have performed with a guitar on various occasions, but Elias is doing it every week and on the live events as well, which is approximately hundreds of dates a year.
Lastly, the former “Drifter” stated that if The Rock wants to Walk With Elias, then he is more then welcome to give it a try.
"Keep in mind, The Rock maybe [performed with a guitar] a dozen times on television, but I am doing it on every week, and I'm doing it on the live events where we have hundreds of dates a year.”
What’s next?
As of right now, it seems like the WWE do not have any solid WrestleMania 34 plans for Elias, however, as per a recent rumor, it seems like Elias might eventually turn out to be Braun Strowman’s mystery partner at WrestleMania 34, when “The Monster Among Men” challenges for the Raw Tag Team Titles.

We have previously witnessed a Symphony of Destruction match between Elias and Braun Strowman and it was highly entertaining, and something tells me that a Battle of Ballads between The Rock and Elias will be equally entertaining as well.
