From the WWE Rumor Mill: Enzo Amore's image removed from production truck

WWE is desperately trying to forget the former Cruiserweight Champion
WWE is desperately trying to forget the infamous, former Cruiserweight Champion

What's the story?

We had recently brought you the update that Enzo Amore had been released from WWE, presumably as the result of not informing the company that he was under investigation for sexual assault. The Cruiserweight Championship is now vacant.

It seems like the company wants nothing to do with their former employee. They even took off his image from the WWE production truck:

In case you didn't know...

When it comes to matters like sexual assault and domestic violence, WWE shows no mercy to the perpetrators. Enzo Amore was first suspended when the allegations first came to light, and later, he was released by the company.

It's not known what the situation is at present, and we can only reveal further details when the investigation has concluded and the truth comes to light. The rumour mills indicate that Amore was let go because he did not inform WWE that he was under investigation.

The heart of the matter

This picture first emerged on 'The Spotlight' Page, and Internet Trolls had a field day making comments such as 'Braun Strowman ripped it off' and 'A cuppa haters'. In any case, it is clear as day Enzo Amore's photograph, lying between Big Cass and Naomi's images, has been torn off.

WWE obviously wants nothing to do with Amore, who already had locker room heat even before this particular incident occurred. The fact that WWE released him without the incident coming to its logical conclusion shows that they're done with him.

What's next?

A new General Manager will be appointed for 205 Live. The man will address the state of the Cruiserweight Division. A new Cruiserweight Champion will be crowned, based on his decision.

Author's take

Honestly, I cannot comment on a matter so sensitive without having all the details. WWE obviously knows what's best for their company, and probably acted in their best interests.

Whatever happens, I think Enzo Amore's career in wrestling is over and done for good.
