What's the Story?

Finn Balor returned to Chicago, Illinois for the live event at the United Center, but was absent from the show in Michigan.

Balor explained his absence by informing fans that flight delays were the reasons he couldn't make it to the show.

In Case You Didn't Know

Balor has appeared regularly on WWE programming and live events since his return from injury in 2017.

He last appeared on WWE television for Monday Night Raw when he defeated The Miz after Seth Rollins beat him as well.

The Heart of the Matter

The live event Balor was advertised for took place in Kalamazoo, Michigan which emanated from the Wings Event Center.

The former Universal Champion tweeted the following picture showing that he was on his way to Chicago after being delayed twice:

Balor would team with Seth Rollins to take on Cesaro & Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team Championships, but the match ended via disqualification. Despite not winning the gold and showing signs of a rivalry on Raw, Balor and Rollins embraced after their Championship match.

WWE will more than likely continue to have Balor and Rollins team up until their rumored Intercontinental Championship match against The Miz is officially announced.

What's Next?

Rollins and Balor are expected to confront each other soon regarding them both working to claim the Intercontinental Championship for themselves.

It is believed that Rollins, Balor and The Miz would be a triple threat match, but there is a possibility that another WWE superstar could be added, possibly Samoa Joe or Elias.

Author'sTake

It's never good to hear that an advertised star couldn't make it to a show, but at least Balor had the courtesy to explain his situation.

WWE will probably return to Kalamazoo at some point down the line, so hopefully, that's a show that the Demon King makes his appearance on.
