Braun Strowman stood victorious in the first ever

What's the story?

Braun Strowman and Elias competed in the first ever Symphony of Destruction Match on tonight's episode of RAW - and it did not disappoint.

The match saw a mini Elias concert, Braun Lesnar stopping a moving car, and a plethora of instruments being used as weapons - not least a piano!

In case you didn't know

Elias and Strowman have a storied history, with their rivalry building up to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Elias actually picked up a victory over Strowman in a Triple Threat Match via pinfall on John Cena after Strowman had the 16-time World Champ beaten.

However, this match stemmed from the pair's most popular segment together, when Braun Strowman smashed a double bass over Elias' back after giving the WWE Universe a concert of his own.

The heart of the matter

Well, tonight's Symphony of Destruction Match was one full of enigma - and it actually began with an Elias concert. That may not sound surprising, but we got an extended version tonight with The Drifter tickling the ivories and pounding the drums.

Elias then made his way to the ring, with the lights being dimmed for his usual guitar gig - but Elias made a break for it. The Drifter got in a car and tried to leave - only to turn round and see Braun Strowman holding the rear of the car aloft, stopping it while the wheels were in motion.

The actual match didn't disappoint either - with guitars being smashed over spines and Elias being thrown into a video wall.

What came next was even more shocking, though, when Elias' piano playing skills would come back to bite him - Strowman played a tune of his own before crushing Elias with the piano.

Braun picked up the victory via pinfall immediately after with Elias being stretchered out of the arena.

What's next?

Well, who knows? Braun and Elias have been incredible over the past few months, and maybe even the most entertaining part of Raw.

Sadly, it doesn't look like many people will be walking with Elias any time soon as he couldn't even walk out of the arena. As for Braun, we'll see next week.

Author's take

I loved this match. Elias and Braun kill it every week and, every time I think they've peaked, they shock me yet again. Both of these guys have a HUGE future, and I hope WWE keeps booking them like this.
