We’d recently reported how the wrestling world had rejoiced when former WWE Superstars Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella welcomed their firstborn- Birdie Joe Danielson, into the world. In case you missed it in our Instagram recap, we now present the first photographs of the child, posted by the Bella Twins on their Instagram accounts.
In case you didn’t know...
Last year, Daniel Bryan retired from in-ring action because of a barrage of injuries. During his retirement, he mentioned that he wished to focus on starting a family with his lovely wife, Brie.
The couple welcomed Birdie Joe Danielson into the world on May 9 at 11:58 PM. At the time of her birth, Birdie Joe was 21 inches long and weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. The couple then received congratulatory messages from many past and present wrestling Superstars, since the news broke!
The heart of the matter
Here’s the first look at the newborn baby from Brie Bella’s Instagram account. She described the experience as ‘the greatest feeling in the world’:
Nikki Bella also took to Instagram and proclaimed how happy she was for her sister, promising to love and protect Birdie Joe forever.

What’s next?
With her genes and her parentage, this could be your first glimpse of a future WWE women’s champion. We wonder if this moment will be captured in the next season of Total Divas or Total Bellas.
