WWE News: Ryback open to WWE return 

What's the story?

Ryback left WWE back in 2016 after he walked away from the company and unleashed a rant on social media about his pay. Even though Ryback has had a lot to say about WWE over the past few years it seems that The Big Guy is still open to a WWE return.

In case you didn't know...

Ryback was a consistent face on the WWE brand for a number of years but only ever managed to lift the Intercontinental Championship during his stint, which began to gain speed when he was part of The Nexus.

Since his departure, Ryback has spent time on the Independent Circuit and has started his own podcast called "Conversation With The Big Guy, where he has shared a number of secrets and stories from his time in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.

The heart of the matter

Part of Ryback's latest edition of his podcast saw him talk about whether or not he would be open to returning to the company where he first found fame.

Ryback said "Never say never" when it comes to a return since he has never been bitter about his departure from the company and has remained on good terms with a number of officials. The former Champion went on to state that he handled his departure as professionally as possible so that he didn't burn any bridges and has since always spoken highly of the company.

What's next?

It seems that these hints have come at the right time since The Royal Rumble is in less than two weeks time and Ryback himself could easily be being considered to be one of the surprise entrants in the annual match.

Ryback unleashed quite the rant when it comes to the rate of pay between wrestlers and has since told a lot of stories about WWE as well. He is set to return to the Independent Circuit in the coming months and says that he is dealing with an ankle injury so maybe a Rumble appearance is out of the question.
