Former WWE Superstar Rosa Mendes
Rosa is best remembered for her managerial roles in WWE

What's the story?

Former WWE and Total Divas star Rosa Mendes took to social media to reveal that she had started her in-ring training again, after she took a leave of absence to give birth to a baby girl. A year after giving birth, Mendes announced her retirement from WWE in February 2017.

In an interview with Sportskeeda last week, she had mentioned that she was ready to get back to the ring in a week's time.

In case you didn’t know…

Mendes, real name Milena Roucka, was part of the Diva Search in 2006 and reached the final eight. Though she didn't go all the way, WWE signed her on a developmental contract. She has had matches against the likes of The Bella Twins, Mickie James and Kelly Kelly, but is better known in a managerial role, managing the likes of Zack Ryder, Carlito and notably Primo and Epico.

Rosa went on maternity leave in August 2015 and gave birth to a baby girl Jordan Elizabeth in February 2016.

The heart of the matter

As aforementioned, Mendes confirmed last week that she was ready to get back to the ring. She also took to Twitter to say the same:

The former WWE star started training at MCW Pro Wrestling's training center in Maryland.

What's next?

It has been more than three years since we have seen Rosa in action and there is no news about where and when Mendes plans to restart her wrestling career. A WWE return sometime in the future cannot be ruled out.
