Indy News: Rey Mysterio set to have a match in India, multiple former WWE Superstars to appear

Former WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio is set to make an appearance in India when he appears alongside a number of former WWE favourites in February as he takes part in the Encounter '18 show in Khalgaon, Udaipur.

Mysterio will appear alongside fellow WWE alums Ryback, The Great Khali and Chris Masters in what is set to be a huge show for Indian Wrestling Entertainment for the first time in Rajasthan.

Rey Mysterio's appearance in India is pretty big considering how popular the King of Mystery was during his time in WWE, this has the potential to be a huge show for all the stars involved. Mysterio hasn't been part of many Independent wrestling events over the past few years, ever since he requested his release from WWE, although he was recently part of a lot of online speculation that stated he could be returning to the WWE in the near future.

This event is hot off the heels of WWE's hugely successful live tour in India earlier this month and it seems that the company were definitely onto something as they attempted to open up their product to the fanbase in India over the past year.

Other stars scheduled to be in attendance include John Morrison, Katie Forbes, Santana Garrett, Bobby Lashley and Alberto Del Rio who are all set to be wrestling at the event in less than two months time.
