What’s the story?

Pro-wrestling icon Hulk Hogan attended the premiere of HBO Sports’ Andre The Giant documentary.

Apparently, while at the event, Hogan met a few notable WWE personalities including Triple H and the Big Show, among others.

In case you didn’t know…

Hulk Hogan is widely regarded as one of the most influential professional wrestlers of all time—having performed for promotions such as NJPW, WCW, Impact Wrestling and WWE.

Hogan was fired from the WWE in 2015, owing to him mouthing racist profanities—with his racist rant being featured in a few leaked tapes.

The heart of the matter

As we’d previously reported, the WWE has noted that they’re indeed in talks with Hulk Hogan, so as to rope him in to help others “learn from his mistakes”, however, presently he’s not under any contract with the WWE.

The WWE is heavily involved in the aforementioned Andre The Giant documentary presented by HBO Sports, regardless, WWE noted that the only reason Hogan was invited to said documentary’s premiere, is because the Hulkster was a huge part of Andre’s run in the sport.

Intriguingly, Hogan did, in fact, meet with multiple WWE personalities, most notably Paul “Triple H” Levesque—who is the WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events & Creative. Fans can check out the photograph of Hogan with Triple H below (*Courtesy-TMZ Sports*)

Meanwhile, Triple H & Stephanie McMahon are set to compete against Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey in a Mixed Tag Team Match which takes place at WrestleMania 34 on April 8th.
