What's the story?
We'd recently informed you that Jeff Hardy had sustained a shoulder injury right before the No Mercy pay-per-view, as a result of which he had been ruled out for 6 months of action. Hardy posted a message through his Instagram account that convinced us that he was doing much better now.
In all likelihood, his surgery has been successful. We wonder if this means that he may be returning to the ring, sooner rather than later, now.
In case you didn't know...
Jeff Hardy returned to WWE with his brother Matt, at WrestleMania 33 this year. On the very night of his return, The Hardy Boyz captured the RAW Tag Team Championships and held the titles for a while.
Hardy even had a singles title-shot for the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz, not long ago. It seemed as if he was on the brink of yet another great run. Unfortunately, all plans were put on hold owing to a major shoulder injury.
The heart of the matter
Jeff Hardy's Instagram picture had a caption that read- 'let the healing begin', which can only be a sign of good things. Hardy wrestles at the highest level at an age when many superstars hang up their boots, still risking life and limb like he did many years ago.
In his absence, Matt Hardy has been teaming up with Kurt Angle's son, Jason Jordan. We wonder if this is only a makeshift team, or if this will be a legitimate team, moving forward, on RAW.
What's next?
Let's hope for a speedy recovery for Jeff Hardy, with much relaxation and rehabilitation. The Shield will dominate the tag team division on RAW for a while now, so the break should not really affect the on-screen product, right now.

Jeff Hardy still has a few good runs left in him, so this injury is just a minor setback. We're glad to see him doing well, and we're certain he'll come back to WWE with far more momentum than ever.
