WWE.com released a list of their take on ‘The 10 hottest free agents for Raw and SmackDown Live’ and it included quite a few names that turned a few heads. Amongst them is former WWE Champion and a giant amongst mortals, The Great Khali. Is there really a chance that the Punjabi Playboy will grace out tv screens anytime soon?
Never say never but it seems unlikely at this point as Khali is busy with his own wrestling promotion, Continental Wrestling Entertainment or CWE in short. The CWE is Khali’s wrestling school and promotion that he runs out of Jalandhar, Punjab which is also the home of famous India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who actually appeared at a CWE show in the recent past.
Apart from the fact that he’s been busy with his own promotion, the main thing standing in Great Khali’s way in case he wants to return is his history of injuries. If the Punjabi Nightmare does indeed overcome his injury problems and makes a return, a large number of his fans in India will rejoice and wait to see India’s most famous pro wrestler make a comeback. With a billion people behind him, can anyone stop this 7ft tall giant?
