What's the story?
The WWE has announced that Jason Jordan and Elias, who have been in a heated rivalry of late, will do battle at the November 6th Monday Night Raw in Manchester, England, in an interesting match. The stipulation? It'll be a 'Guitar-on-a-Poll' match, of course.
In case you didn't know...
The rivalry between Kurt Angle's son, Jason Jordan and Elias has been heating up in recent weeks with Jason Jordan interrupting Elias' TLC 2017 performance several times, and Elias retaliating by using the guitar as a weapon, leaving Jordan with a nasty welt on his shoulder.
On last week's Monday Night RAW, Jordan got some modicum of revenge against his singing adversary when he managed to get his hands on Elias' guitar and destroyed it in front of the musical performer in the middle of the ring.
The heart of the matter
With the guitar becoming the focal point of the feud between the two Superstars the following announcement from WWE.com makes perfect sense, Elias will face Jason Jordan in a Guitar-on-a-Pole match.
Accordingly, WWE.com has learned that the two Superstars will come to Manchester, England this Monday night to go head-to-head in a Guitar-on-a-Pole Match on Raw.
In case you missed the Vince Russo era of WWE booking and have no idea what an 'object-on-a-poll' match is, don't worry, WWE have got you covered there as well.
The contest, which can only be won when a Superstar retrieves the guitar and uses it on his opponent, promises to leave one of these competitors singing the blues.
What's next?
This match will take place on the UK taping of Monday Night Raw in Manchester, England, with Braun Strowman also set to face Kane. Kurt Angle is to appear as a guest on Miz TV and Alicia Fox will try to find more Superstars for the RAW Team and their Traditional Survivor Series match.
Author's take
This feud hasn't really fired on all cylinders so far, with Jordan's vegetable interference at TLC 2017 not coming across too great on television.
However, Elias' use of the guitar as a foreign object to level Jordan was brilliantly done and I hope that the two can deliver with this stipulation match on an already stacked card for Monday Night RAW.
