What's the story?
WWE Raw is celebrating a big milestone coming up and it looks like their going to kick off their 25th year as a television show with a bang and two big attractions for the upcoming celebration have already been confirmed.
Brock Lesnar is the current Universal Champion and John Cena is currently taking on Hollywood. But it appears the two giants in pro wrestling will find the time to be in New York City for the Raw 25th Anniversary Special.
In case you didn't know...
The last time Brock Lesnar and John Cena squared off in the ring it resulted in some serious fireworks and plenty of highlights. Unfortunately for Cena, most of those match spotlights involved him getting tossed around the ring like a sack of potatoes.
But since then, both guys have accomplished a lot and continued on their own unique paths into pro wrestling immortality.
The heart of the matter
WWE recently announced that the Raw 25th Anniversary show will now feature Brock Lesnar and John Cena. With an already packed show and rumours flying around about who could show up, Big Match John and The Beast Incarnate are certainly a good place to start.
Fans will have to tune into the big Raw 25th Anniversary Show to see what will really go down between these two.
But knowing WWE and how they strive on a weekly basis to create lasting moments in the ring, there is no limit to what they might try and pull off on January 22nd.
This is going to be a show full of nostalgia and top quality action. With this being the go-home Raw for the Royal Rumble they will have plenty of loose ends to tie up while leaving many more open for future stories. This special event is going to be pretty epic.
