John Cena is no stranger to lending his voice to a project. He's the voice of the elephant in the pistachio commercials shown on television and, has been in major animated films such as Surf's Up 2 and Ferdinand.

He will be the voice of Yoshi in an upcoming film called The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle that is set for release in 2019.

The heart of the matter

Dallas and Robo premieres on YouTube Red May 30th and in addition to Cena, the series will star the voice of Kat Dennings, who is best known for her starring role in the CBS series 2 Broke Girls that aired from 2011 to 2017.

The production company behind Dallas and Robo, ShadowMachine, also created the award-winning series BoJack Horseman that is on Netflix.

The premise is a buddy comedy featuring a cowboy robot named Robo and a sassy space trucker name Dallas trying to make money in the constantly dangerous realm of outer space.
