What's the story?
John Cena is possibly the most famous name in modern day wrestling at the moment. Although he has taken a step back from wrestling and WWE and focused more on his career as an actor in Hollywood, he has returned several times to wrestle matches at special events.
Recently during an interview with People Magazine, Cena talked about how difficult it was living his life with the eyes of the public on him and his dating life.

John Cena has been through some publicised relationships and breakups in his time. His divorce from his wife earlier in his life during a high profile feud with The Rock in WWE was extensively covered.
Adding to that, his relationship, proposal, and highly publicised breakup with WWE colleague Nikki Bella also made all the headlines. To top it all off, a large part of his real-life relationship with Nikki Bella was caught on camera due to the WWE Reality Television show, Total Bellas. All of the issues that they had in their private life were made public during that time.
The heart of the matter
John Cena talked about keeping his relationship private in his interview. He said that it was up to him to protect or share information and he was not judging anyone else for what they shared or did not share.
"I know who I am, and I think that's very important. It's fine for people to have questions, but it's fine for me to give or protect certain information. I think it's imperative to try things. If you try it and you don't like it, you don't need to try it again. I don't ever judge anybody or criticize anybody for what they share or what they don't share because I'm not them. I'm focused on what I have going on now. I try not to look into the crystal ball and predict what may happen."
Currently, he is in an alleged relationship with Shay Shariatzadeh, something that he is yet to comment on.

John Cena might be back in WWE soon, but for the main part, he is focused on his acting career at the moment. He landed a huge role in the Fast and Furious 9 movie.
