What surprise does Cena have in store for the WWE Universe?
What’s the story?
The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH is advertising John Cena for WWE’s Fastlane PPV.
Apparently, Cena is scheduled to make a guest appearance at the aforementioned SmackDown-branded pay-per-view. A few other details regarding the event were also revealed—
In case you didn’t know…
The WWE’s Fastlane PPV will be exclusive to the SmackDown Live brand and is said to be the WWE’s final pay-per-view before Wrestlemania 34.
With John Cena being the only ‘free agent’ on the WWE roster today, he is indeed allowed to perform for both the RAW and SmackDown brands.
The heart of the matter
While John Cena recently took to social media so as to tease a potential feud with ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy, which Superstar Cena will feud against as well as the brand he’ll perform for, remains uncertain as of this time.
Nevertheless, Cena is now being advertised by the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio where the former WWE Champion is scheduled to make a ‘Special Guest Appearance’ at SmackDown Live’s Fastlane PPV.
Furthermore, a few other Superstars announced for Fastlane are Charlotte Flair, Bobby Roode, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, The New Day, The Usos, and Dolph Ziggler, among others. Additionally, the following Fatal 5-Way Match for the WWE Championship headlines the event— AJ Styles (C) vs. Randy Orton vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.
The WWE’s SmackDown brand-exclusive Fastlane PPV will take place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on March 11th.
Fans can expect to see John Cena at Fastlane in a special guest appearance.
Honestly speaking, given how competitive John Cena always is, it’d be truly surprising to see him make an appearance and not wrestle.
Regardless, now that Cena is a part-time Superstar, it’s always nice to see him return in whatever role it may be, to the WWE.
