Kane is definitely a WWE Veteran.

What's the story?

WWE Superstar Kane, who returned to WWE last night on Raw following a lengthy absence from the company, will make history at the WWE TLC PPV this Sunday.

In case you didn't know...

Kane, who is technically still a SmackDown Live Superstar, made a shocking return to WWE last night and this was his first appearance since December 2016.

'The Big Red Monster' interfered in the main event Steel Cage bout between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns, coming up from underneath the ring. Kane helped Strowman win the match after delivering two Chokeslams and a Tombstone to Reigns.

Strowman's victory meant that The Miz had a chance to pick a fifth person to face The Shield on Sunday along with himself, Strowman and The Bar. The Miz obviously announced that Kane was the fifth member of the team.

'Kane' has been busy in real life as Glenn Jacobs whilst being absent from WWE, is running as a Republican candidate to become Mayor of Knox County next May.

'The Devil's Favorite Demon' has been with WWE for over 20 years,

The heart of the matter

With him not wrestling for WWE at all this year, TLC will be the first time Kane will wrestle on a PPV in 2017.

The interesting fact about Kane's match at TLC is that it will mean he has wrestled on a PPV every year for the 21 consecutive years he has been with WWE.

This stat is incredible, but knowing Kane's dedication to WWE, it is not surprising.

Another interesting stat on Sunday's match is that Kane will be the only Superstar that faced The Shield at WWE TLC 2012 that is still wrestling for the company, as Daniel Bryan retire from in-ring competition in 2016 following head and neck injuries, whilst Ryback left in August 2016.

What's next?

Kane will wrestle on Sunday at the WWE Raw TLC PPV in the main event of the show in that 5-on-3 handicap TLC match in which he is against The Shield with Braun Strowman, The Miz and The Bar.

It is unsure as to how long Kane will stay, but with a busy political campaign ahead, it is likely to be a short-term thing.

Author's take

The stat that Kane, after wrestling at TLC this Sunday, will have wrestled on at least one WWE PPV for 21 consecutive years is a tribute to Kane's exemplary longevity with the WWE.

When you take all factors into account, Kane will be considered as one of the best WWE Superstars of all time.
