Indian WWE fans, don't you dare be sour!

What's the story?

Kofi Kingston came ever so close to becoming WWE Champion inside the Elimination Chamber at last night's pay-per-view. And now he will be part of yet another special occasion that should make fans very happy indeed.

New Day will be visiting India, according to news first released on the WWE India Twitter page. It started with a question for Indian fans, and then a video from New Day announcing their return was released as well.

In case you didn't know...

The New Day has visited India on two previous occasions. The first time was in Delhi when they performed at the Live Event in 2016, that I managed to catch live.

I was also fortunate enough to interview them during their second visit to India when they visited Mumbai. It was at that time that they told me that they would love to Freebird a singles title.

Fast forward to now, when they are finally competing for singles gold.

The heart of the matter

In typical New Day Fashion, they threaten to eat all the pancakes in India in the video. They also mention the fact that pancakes in India are called 'malpua'.

Big E also threatens to eat all the garlic naan and butter chicken in the country, but nothing more is said about the nature of their visit to India. We shall make more information available as and when it is made public. Now that rumours of a Performance Center in India are confirmed, it is clear that big things could be in store for the WWE Universe in the country.

What's next?

Many fans want Kofi Kingston to take on Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35. Will he become WWE Champion at the big show? I know that fans certainly want him to stand tall with the grandest prize in the entire business.
