What's the story?

At WWE Fastlane, Kofi Kingston was pitted in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against the duo of Cesaro and Sheamus - together known as The Bar. Despite the odds against his favor, Kingston did put up a tough fight but eventually ended up on the losing side.

In the aftermath of the show, the New Day member has now decided to send a message to WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.

In case you didn't know...

In recent weeks, Kofi Kingston has seemingly renovated his career in WWE, breaking out as a singles superstar once again and stepping up his game in order to challenge current WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan.

Having initially replaced Mustafa Ali at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Kingston came close to winning the title at the show, however, wasn't able to do so despite a valiant effort. At Fastlane, the former US Champion was scheduled to challenge for the WWE Championship but was replaced by a returning Kevin Owens.

The heart of the matter

After having suffered a defeat to The Bar in a gruelling 2-on-1 Handicap Match, Kofi Kingston has now taken it to social media in order to convey his frustrations towards WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.

At one point of the night, it did seem like Kingston was getting his rightful place back into the WWE Championship match back but instead, the WWE Universe was greeted by a returning Mustafa Ali.

Kingston's recent tweet clearly shows how he felt about Mr. McMahon's decision last night, as the New Day member claimed that the Chairman of The Board definitely doesn't want to see Kingston as the WWE Champion.

However, Kingston did note for a fact that after 11 years, he now finally has the attention of Mr. McMahon and isn't going away anytime soon.

What's next?

Kofi Kingston and the rest of The New Day will be appearing on SmackDown Live this Tuesday night and Kofi especially will definitely make his presence known once again.
