WWE News: Kurt Angle flaunting The Shield wrestling attire after Rollins and Ambrose offer him the same

Angle is now a Hound Of Justice

TLC was an awfully strange trip. It was one of those kinds of journeys where everything seemed to be going well enough but right before you reach your destination a thunderstorm hits and you can't believe how crazy it got so fast.

On the way to TLC Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were both pulled from the show due to a viral infection. This kind of thing couldn't have been avoided because WWE didn't want to risk the health of any more of their Superstars. But that presented a problem because The Shield was supposed to reunite for the TLC pay-per-view event.

Luckily Raw General Manager Kurt Angle stepped in to fill in Roman Reigns' vacant spot. It was a decision that excited a lot of people, worried others, and pretty much broke the internet in the process.

During the early portion of the TLC pay-per-view, Kurt Angle was seen in his locker room. He looked up to see Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose standing there. Rollins said he respected Kurt Angle for doing what he did and placing himself in the match.

Then Rollins said he was only here to give Angle something and he pulled out a Shield vest for The Olympic Hero to wear. It was a moment that meant a lot and solidified the forces of the babyface team even more. This kind of storyline device is very much appreciated seeing how there was no television time to hype this match in such an altered state.

The Shield will have their first match at TLC so to speak. Only Roman Reigns won't be part of the equation at all because Kurt Angle is a member of The Hounds Of Justice for TLC.

If anything, it makes this neat little video from WWE 2k18 even cooler to think about it becoming a reality.
