WWE News: Kurt Angle reveals his favourite moment as RAW GM so far

Angle was appointed the GM of Raw earlier this year

What’s the story?

As reported by WrestleZone, WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has spoken about his favourite moment in the role thus far. Angle, who began as Raw GM the night after WrestleMania 33, spoke about the issue during a Q&A on his official Facebook page.

In case you didn’t know...

This isn’t Kurt’s first rodeo when it comes to being a general manager, with the Olympic Gold Medallist also taking on the role for SmackDown well over a decade ago now. The reason behind Angle being thrust into these roles is probably due to his charisma outside of the squared circle, which is something that’s always been quite undervalued in his game.

The heart of the matter

In the aforementioned Facebook Q&A, Angle had the following to say when it came to his favourite moment in the role thus far.

“My favourite moment has been getting in the ring with the likes of Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. It’s like having a past legend meet a future legend. It hardly ever happens but it did for me.”

What’s next?

Angle was absent from this week’s edition of Raw that was held in London, but we can expect him back relatively soon. The rumour mill is suggesting that Kurt will soon begin a feud with Stephanie McMahon over control of Raw, and given the history that the two characters share together, it would seem like a missed opportunity if they didn’t go through with it.

Author’s Take

Kurt is clearly having the time of his life right now after returning to WWE, and we couldn’t be happier for him. Regardless of whether he steps back into the ring for one more match or not, it’s just nice to see him on our television screens week in, week out, doing what he does best – entertaining the masses.
