WWE News: Kurt Angle talks about travelling with Brock Lesnar
The RAW GM made a surprising revelation about The Beast Incarnate.
What’s the story?
On a recent edition of WWE Network original series Table for 3, Kurt Angle spoke about the time he travelled with Brock Lesnar. The 3rd episode of Season 3 of the show saw Team ECK i.e., WWE Hall-of-Famer Adam Copeland aka Edge, Christian and Kurt Angle, reunite and discuss a myriad of issues.
In case you didn’t know...
Kurt Angle, Edge and ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar travelled together in the very same vehicle, for a certain period of time, during Lesnar’s first run with the WWE. Considering the fact that professional wrestlers in the WWE have arguably the most hectic road schedule in the sport, many performers prefer to carpool and travel together.
The heart of the matter
The 48-year old Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, who himself is a pretty big and strong individual, reminisced in awe of Brock Lesnar, noting how the latter would consume a whopping 15,000 calories per day. Here’s what Angle said about the WWE Universal champion:
"Oh yeah, that was kind of different, (wasn’t it)? Yeah, Brock wasn't a healthy eater. Yeah, yeah, he ate whatever he wanted. He'd have two big milkshakes. He'd have fried food. Big farm boy, I guess calories were important to him because that's all he did. He'd consume 15,000 calories a day."
Besides, Adam Copeland aka Edge who broached the topic, stated:
"This was a car for a while. It was you (Kurt Angle), Brock, and I. I felt safe in that one."
Kurt Angle presently serves as the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, whereas Edge and Christian have now retired from in-ring competition. The WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar is reportedly expected to defend his belt at the RAW-brand-exclusive PPV Great Balls of Fire in July.
Remember that segment between Angle and Lesnar? No? Here’s something to refresh your memory:
Kurt most certainly had a unique experience whilst on the road with Brock, and with the Beast Incarnate, you are always to expect the unexpected!
