What's the story?
Maryse is currently sitting at home while she's pregnant with The It Couple's first child. Although she's not making towns with The Miztourage anymore, she's still a member of the WWE Family.
While at home, Maryse decided a change was due for her do while she was cooking up the next generation of Mizanins. She decided to share her new loop on Instagram.
In case you didn't know...
Maryse is known for her long blonde hair. As a featured cast member of Total Divas she travelled around sporting her golden locks and in the ring, she seemed to turn it up a notch alongside her A-Lister husband The Miz.
On a recent episode of Miz TV, The It Couple announced they were expecting a child so Maryse took some time off from the road so she could concentrate on being pregnant.
The heart of the matter
It looks like Maryse has decided to shed some length to her hair as her stomach grows during her pregnancy. It's a really nice haircut any mother-to-be would be happy to have.
She included a hashtag which said: "short hair don't care." So there's a very good chance that even if you don't care for her new haircut she could care less. After all, at the end of the day, she's still Maryse.
What's next?
The world will be blessed with the product of The Miz and Maryse's love soon enough. Their child will have the best options available for it and whether they have a girl or a boy there's going be plenty of love to go around.
The Miz will keep working with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel in the meantime. While Maryse sits at home her husband will have to give her reports of making towns with the RAW Brand until the time eventually comes for Maryse to make her triumphant return with an entire photo album's worth of baby pictures.
Author's take
The It Couple could very well have a future WWE Superstar on the way. In a little over eighteen years, we might be hearing about a hot new prospect making their way to NXT. But we knew this future somebody quite well because they would be the product of The Miz and Maryse.
If The Miz's child does decide to become a WWE Superstar they would have some pretty awesome shoes to fill. But at this point, the only news to report is Maryse's updated hairdo, and doesn't she look stunning?
