What's the story?
With WrestleMania weekend well underway, WWE is definitely taking advantage of having so much talent in New Orleans this weekend, and it looks like they're making the most of it by filming new content for WWE Network.
After it was announced that Natalya, Nia Jax, and Beth Phoenix will be appearing on Table for 3, Matt Hardy has now confirmed he'll be appearing on the popular show too.
In case you didn't know...
Table For 3 is one of WWE Network's most popular original shows. The format of the show has three WWE talents reminisce about their past in an empty restaurant.
The show has seen legends such as Sting, DDP and Vader have a chat around the table, as well as The Shield, The New Day and several other legendary figures from the wrestling industry.
The heart of the matter
Woken Matt Hardy has taken the world of wrestling by storm over the past few years and is hitting those same heights in WWE now, having had an Ultimate Deletion Match against Bray Wyatt and seemingly being allowed to unleash more of his character.
Well, it looks like we'll be seeing more of Woken Matt Hardy as he tweeted out that he'll be appearing on Table For 3, although he did not reveal who he'll appear with on the show.
What's next?
With WWE recording a whole load of content for WWE Network, it may be a while before we see this episode or even find out who's appearing on it - but one thing is for sure, it will be... WONDERFUL!
Author's take
Matt Hardy recently appeared on Edge and Christian's podcast and was half in character, half not. Hardy tends to go all-in with the Woken gimmick and it'll be great to see if he stays in character here.
What's even more interesting is who Hardy could be paired with - Jeff, Edge and Christian, The Dudley Boyz? Even Bray Wyatt or some members of the Woken Universe could be a shout. Either way, I can't wait to see how it goes down!
