WWE News: More details on X-Pac's arrest say he could spend 4 years in prison

X-Pac has been booked for possession with intent to sell.

What’s the story?

Further details regarding X-Pac’s arrest and alleged drug possession controversy have been revealed. As per TMZ Sports, a K-9 dog reportedly alerted a human officer after detecting narcotics in X-Pac’s luggage.

In case you didn’t know...

X-Pac, whose real name is Sean Waltman, was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport while he was en-route to boarding a flight to the UK, in order to attend a wrestling event.

Waltman is reportedly listed on the United States watch list by the Customs and Border Protection agency, which in turn is said to have played a role in the airport officials cross-checking his luggage.

The heart of the matter

The police report contained several essential details regarding the situation. Here are a few excerpts from the same:

“Three Cannabis Chocolate Bars, Two THC liquid Cigarettes, 15 Meth/Amphetamine capsules, and 23 Meth/Amphetamine capsules.”

Furthermore, Waltman also had $736.10 in cash. Since he stated that he would be back in Los Angeles on April 5th, the authorities have determined that:

“The large quantity of pills plus the large quantity of U.S. currency are associated with narcotics sales.”

X-Pac has been booked on narcotics possession and intent to sell, along with a felony charge and a $35,000 bond. Besides, he also has a warrant for a previous DUI as well as a current outstanding DUI in the state of Pennsylvania.

The police report states that Sean Waltman is believed to have intended to sell the drugs overseas. The 44-year old WWE veteran could face up to 4 years in prison if he is convicted.

What’s next?

X-Pac is presently out on bail and will undergo trial in the court of law in the days to come. He has assured fans on Twitter that his absence is not due to a relapse – given his addiction issues in the past – but due to other reasons.

Sportskeeda will keep fans updated as and when more details are revealed.

Author’s take:

X-Pac has been involved in a few drug-related criminal activities in the past, but never one of this severity. Possession with intent to sell in combination with the angle involving him having plans to fly abroad with the drugs spells disaster for his case in a court of law.

I hope the man gets a chance to fair trial in the court of law, and at the end of the day, justice prevails.
