In case you didn’t know…

WWE is all set to host the first ever 30-women Royal Rumble match at this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The match was announced and confirmed by Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon a few weeks ago on an episode of Monday Night Raw and so far several women have announced their entry into the Rumble match including the likes of Naomi, Sasha Banks, Paige and Natalya as well.

The heart of the matter

In her latest column, Natalya discussed the Women’s Royal Rumble match and revealed her reaction to the news when it was announced.

Natalya stated that she cannot describe how important this Royal Rumble match is for the entire WWE Women’s division and claimed that she is humbled to be a part of this historic match. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion said that sharing this moment with such passionate women in the WWE makes it much more special.

“We step in the ring against each other nearly every night, but at the end of the day, we all share the same objective, to entertain the WWE Universe and make history.”, Natalya wrote in her column.

According to Nattie, the possibilities of surprise entrants are endless and the WWE Universe could possibly witness even the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita or Jazz make their WWE return by entering the Rumble match. Natalya also believes that fans could also potentially witness NXT superstars make their main roster debut during the Rumble match.

“The Queen of Hearts” also wrote that her family holds a very rich history with the Royal Rumble match, as her father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and her uncle Bret “The Hitman” Hart were both part of the very first Royal Rumble match back in 1998.

What’s next?

The first Women’s Royal Rumble match is scheduled to take place on January 28th, 2018 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and 30 women will be part of a very historic moment in Pro Wrestling.
