What's the story?
We all know what happened on the go-home episode of WWE RAW ahead of Survivor Series 2018. Becky Lynch was set to face RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series but a punch from Nia Jax caught her in the nose leading to a concussion and a 'broken face'.
Thanks to Paige, we now know what Nia Jax's reaction backstage after the incident was like.
In case you didn't know...
Even though Becky Lynch wasn't able to face Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, the incident definitely helped Becky Lynch. Lynch standing in the crowd bloody and battered, after laying out Ronda Rousey, cemented the image of 'The Man'.
With Becky Lynch unable to face Rousey, the anticipation for their match grew further and it now looks like Lynch will be part of a triple threat match at WrestleMania for the RAW Women's Championship. If she'd already faced Rousey, it's unlikely that she would have been in this position in WrestleMania season.

The heart of the matter
Paige was recently interviewed by the LA Times during the promotion of the film Fighting With My Family. During the interview, the former SmackDown General Manager revealed how she had to calm Nia Jax down backstage after her errant punch left Becky Lynch bloody:
"I had to calm Nia down from that because she was like, 'I feel like everyone is mad!'. And I said, 'You know what? This elevated Becky so much too. And you're about to turn heel anyways — so who cares?'"
What's next?
Nia Jax has definitely used the incident to her benefit and has established herself as one of the most hated heels in the women's division. Nia Jax will team up with Tamina as they enter the Elimination Chamber later tonight.
