Could Paige get in the ring yet again?

What's the story?

At the age of 26, Paige has already been a 2-time Divas Champion as well as a former NXT Champion too. Unfortunately, she had to retire from the freak owing to a freak accident during a WWE Live Event.

Chris Van Vliet caught up with Paige and asked her about potentially returning to the ring for yet another spell. Paige does not seem too convinced that she can make the dream comeback.

In case you didn't know...

Paige transitioned into a General Manager role after her retirement from the ring. Unfortunately, when the McMahons assumed control of both RAW and SmackDown Live, she was relieved of her duties.

Right now, she is promoting the movie based on her life which is titled 'Fighting With My Family'. She even made an appearance on the Royal Rumble Axxess show, much to the delight of her fans.

But the question that everybody's been asking is whether she could potentially return to the ring again.

The heart of the matter

Thanks to Wrestling Inc. for the transcript. Van Vliet asked Paige that if Daniel Bryan could bounce back and re-enter the ring, could she come back as well?

Mine is all spinal, it's kind of like Edge or Stone Cold. It's spinal stenosis. There is no way I can get back in the ring. But never say never. Maybe in about 40 years time but I don't think you're going to want to see like a 60-odd year old girl in the ring, you know?

Paige also expressed disappointment that she wasn't in the Women's Royal Rumble match. One can't help but feel sorry for this talented young woman.

What's next?

You never say never in WWE. Paige could certainly return someday and rise to the top of the food chain once again. Maybe medical treatments advance to such a degree that her problem can be treated and she can compete at the highest level again.
