WWE News: Paige's faction gets an official new name

Paige, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose attacked members of the Raw Women’s Division again and said that “Absolution” is what the group will be known as going forward.

Before the start of Raw, WWE announced a six-woman tag team match between Paige, Deville and Rose against Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Bayley as retaliation for their attacks last week.

Banks made her way to the ring expecting James and Bayley to follow her entrance, but neither woman appeared when their music played, and Paige made her way to the ring with Deville and Rose.

Paige revealed that her group attacked James and Bayley backstage which prevented them from coming to the ring to wrestle alongside Banks.

Paige also said that the reason for her attack last week was because she was the flag bearer of the Women’s Revolution and she wanted to make a statement upon her return.

As Paige, Deville and Rose surrounded the ring, the former Diva’s Champion said that her group was called “Absolution” and Deville and Rose said that they aligned themselves with Paige because they believed that she was the one who truly deserved recognition for all the changes in the Women’s Division.

Paige offered Banks the chance to join Absolution, but Banks declined and attacked Paige. Banks attempted to fight off Deville and Rose, but all three women would stomp her out and each hit the former Raw Women’s Champion with their finishers.
