What's the story?
Paige has been someone who has dominated news reports over the past year but it wasn't because of her antics in a WWE ring.
The former Divas Champion was left mentally and emotionally scarred following the hacking scandal which left her in a position where she no longer knew who to trust.
In case you didn't know...
Paige and Alicia were best friends throughout Paige's run in NXT and on the main roster up until 2016 and their friendship was one of the main points of their time on E! Network show Total Divas before both women were removed from the show ahead of the new season.
Alicia was someone that Paige was able to work with following her WWE return a few weeks ago since Absolution targetted the former Divas Champion last week on Raw.
The heart of the matter
Paige appeared in Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast recently where she was able to finally open up about her life over the past year. She revealed that she had become a private person following her online leaks and didn't even want to leave the house.
She also talked about the fact that she cut off contact with her best friend for a year and a half because she became accustomed to people walking out of her life, but she was able to apologise to Foxy and the duo is now the best of friends once again.
Paige also talked about her return the night after Survivor Series where she stated that the pop she received from the WWE Universe almost made her cry on stage. She also explained that wrestling is her world and that she's happy to be back where she belongs.
What's next?
There are a lot of rumors about Paige's WWE future including what could be an interesting match between the former Divas Champion and Asuka at WrestleMania. It is unknown what Paige's future plans currently are, but now that she's back in WWE she has a support network to help her through any issues that come her way.
