WWE News: Paige to miss WWE Live events and the reason why

Paige
Paige will not be appearing at this week's Raw house shows

What’s the story?

Paige took to social media this week to confirm that she'll be on tour for the rest of this week with her boyfriend Kalan Blehm's band Attila - meaning she will not be accompanying Absolution on the next few Raw live events.

In case you didn’t know…

With her future currently up in the air due to injury, with reports stating that her in-ring career may be over, Paige has transitioned into a managerial role as the leader of Absolution in RAW.

There's no word on whether this is permanent, though, as WWE and Paige still have not commented on her future, although the former NXT Women's Champion has not competed since her injury was sustained at a house show in December - but has still accompanied Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to the ring at both Raw and on house shows.

The heart of the matter

Well, the Raw roster will be running through Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday and Oshawa, Ontario, on Saturday. It's not confirmed whether or not Absolution will be on either card but, if they are, Paige will not be accompanying Rose and Deville as she's announced she'll be joining Kalan Blehm's band Atilla on their current tour with Insane Clown Posse.

Paige will be with the band for the rest of the week until and including Sunday - hitting Pensylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.

What’s next?

Paige will be on tour with the band until the 11th, Sunday, so there's a good chance we'll see the former Divas Champion on Raw this week, but she'll definitely be absent from this weekend's two live events.

Author’s take

This is a shame for Paige fans who have bought tickets to the events, but it's never a certainty who you'll see at live events. For Paige, though, it's cool that she's getting to take some time off to travel with her boyfriend.

You can't help but wish Paige all the best for the future and all the happiness in the world after having a tough few years inside and outside of the ring.
