Paige last wrestled in the WWE in June of 2016...

Just a few minutes ago on Monday afternoon, former WWE Diva's and NXT Women's Champion Paige tweeted that she is at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Take a look at her tweet below:

Immediately after Paige posted the tweet, two women from the NXT roster immediately showed their excitement to have Paige down there with them. The reactions of Ember Moon and Billie Kay are below:

Paige last appeared in a WWE ring on the June 26, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw when she tagged with Sasha Banks to defeat Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke. She suffered a serious neck injury that required surgery.

Her time away from the ring has been turbulant, to say the least. The WWE suspended Paige twice for Wellness Policy violations, with the second prompting a very defiant response from Paige last October:

"Same s*** different day. Kids..Please don't get prescriptions or doctors notes. Not acceptable."

Last July, there was the very public domestic dispute with her boyfriend/fiancée Alberto El Patron that took place at the Orlando International Airport. The Orlando Police Department decided not to charge either Paige or Alberto after investigating the incident.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider actually reported that Paige was at the Performance Center just minutes before she tweeted the picture out. Johnson confirmed that she is working towards getting cleared to return to in-ring competition.

Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further developments on the in-ring return for Paige.
