WWE News: Rare appearance of the Undertaker announced
What's the story?
The Undertaker is all set to make his rare signing appearance in the introductory edition of Ace Universe convention on Friday, December 8. This will be his first public appearance since Wrestlemania 33.
The three-day event will be held at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island. Although the event commences on December 8, the Undertaker is listed to appear only on the second day.
In case you didn't know...
The Undertaker was retired by Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33. In a No Holds Barred match between the two, the Undertaker received five spears from Reigns following which he was pinned.
He left his coat and hat in the ring and walked up the ramp. After performing his signature arm-raised pose amidst dense smoke, the Dead Man descended beneath the ramp.
The Ace Universe comic con is a new convention launched by Gareb Sheamus, founder of the Wizard World conventions. This event will host several other celebrities who will be signing autographs for the fans.
The Undertaker is not known for making frequent signing appearances. However, he decided to make an exception for this event as he agreed to sign autographs for the fans attending the convention. As of now, he is the only wrestler set to be part of the show.
According to the reports, the Undertaker will soon return to the ring to face John Cena at Survivor Series.
There is no denying the fact that the Undertaker has gifted the most cherished moments to the entire WWE universe. His Wrestlemania main events were major crowd-pullers for many years. However, the Phenom was subjected to unforeseen defeats owing to the restrictions imposed by his age and his health.
Speculations about his return to WWE have been doing rounds since the time he bid adieu to the ring but there has been no confirmation. Thus, in this hour that has everyone desperately waiting to catch a glimpse of the Undertaker, his signing appearance in the comic con will be a treat for his fans.
