The GRR is just one week away now

What's the story?

As pointed out by CagesideSeats, WWE have put out an advertisement for the Greatest Royal Rumble which all but confirms appearances by some top Superstars at the event.

We had previously reported about Rey Mysterio's status with WWE and his appearance at the event, but this ad all but confirms that Mysterio will indeed compete at the event.

In case you didn’t know…

A few weeks ago WWE announced a 50-man Royal Rumble would be taking place at the event named Greatest Royal Rumble, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Since then, it has shaped up to be one of the biggest events in WWE history.

In addition to the 50-man match, several other Championship matches have been announced for the event, including a rematch between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, and a Steel Cage match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

The heart of the matter

Ever since the event was announced, fans have been speculating how WWE intends to find 50 Superstars to fill out all the spots in the match. It looks like WWE is pulling out all the stops to make the event a spectacular one, with even The Undertaker making a rare appearance to have a Casket Match against Rusev.

As mentioned, WWE have put out an advert for the Greatest Royal Rumble on the Login page of the WWE Network site. This ad features an array of Superstars including the likes of Rey Mysterio, The Great Khali, Mark Henry and Shane McMahon among the Superstars who have not yet been reported to be a part of the event. Other stars on the ad are either part of the main roster or have already been advertised to be part of the event.

This should effectively confirm that the above mentioned stars will make an appearance at the extravagant show. Here is a screen-grab of the ad:
