What's the story?

Ric Flair claimed that he slept with 10,000 women throughout his wrestling career in an upcoming ESPN 30 for 30 documentary. However, The Nature Boy recently stated in an interview with the People that he regretted revealing the figures as he did not want his grandchildren to be exposed to that information.

In case you didn't know....

Ric Flair recently had a health scare and came close to losing his life as a result. After a week and a half, it was finally revealed that Ric was recovering.

Ric Flair has been in four marriages all of which ended with divorces. He became engaged to his current partner, Wendy Barlow, in July 2016.

The episode of "30 for 30" in question is scheduled to be released on the 7th of November.

The heart of the matter

Ric Flair revealed the number of women that he had slept with over the course of his wrestling career but recently admitted that he regretted the revelation.

"What I said was the truth, but I feel bad now that I said some of it. Ten thousand women. I wish I hadn't said that because of my grandkids."

The 68-year-old went on to say that while he still looks upon himself as a ladies man, he is committed to his partner, Wendy Barlow.

"I love the ladies. I only love one now. I have never done anything since I met Wendy."

While the world reacted to that revelation with disbelief at the figure, Flair's fiance only made this update on her page.

What's next?

The Nature Boy has a long road to recovery and has vowed that he will "never drink again" after his recent health-scare.

Author's take

Ric Flair has led an extremely fast lifestyle which led him to make unhealthy choices. He claims that the recent health issues he went through changed him and he will lead a healthier lifestyle.

At 68 it is past time for the Nature Boy to slow down and the issues he faced were just further proof of that. One can only hope, that he will recover well enough to live a healthy life and possibly make the occasional appearance on WWE programming.
